The GTAP database, maintained at Purdue University, is the standard statistical foundation for multi-country, multi-sector CGE analysis. Relative to earlier releases, v10 updates input–output tables for 50 countries; splits chemicals, pharmaceuticals, rubber, and electronic equipment in manufacturing; separately identifies accommodation and food, warehousing, real estate, education, and health in services; and revises re-exports, international margins, energy, emissions, tariffs, and agricultural protection.
The economies represented account for about 98% of world GDP and 92% of population. Economies without input–output tables, many in Africa, are grouped in a residual rest-of-world region.
GTAP models and data have been used on Brexit, trade conflict, climate change, and labor mobility. Enquiries may be directed to ISM.
