Deepika Wadhwa

Biography

Deepika Wadhwa has 10+ years of experience in economic and policy research, analysis and project management. Her areas of interest and expertise include international trade and development, finance, gender inequality, energy, supply chain and logistics, and blockchains. She has full time work experience in policy research with the Indian Council for Research in International Economic Relations (ICRIER) in New Delhi, India. She has strong analytical, business analysis, and stakeholder managements skills and has successfully executed projects funded by international organizations such as, DFID, Commonwealth Secretariat, World Bank, WHO and Government of India, among others. She is passionate about finding solutions to global livelihood problems through effective policy and cross-cultural understanding. Deepika has Masters in Philosophy (in Economics) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. 

Expertise: regional integration, free trade agreements, agriculture trade policy, employment generation.
