Biography
Sebnem Sahin is a lead economist with strong experience in policy analysis and strategic policy advice. She has robust expertise in economic assessment of projects and analytical advisory services using economy-wide analysis. She also has proven track record in multi-sectoral analyses and publications on the Middle East (Yemen, Iraq, Libya, Jordan); Africa (Zambia, Ethiopia, Namibia, Kenya, Sao Tome and Principe); Europe (Bulgaria, Georgia, Turkey); South Asia (Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives); and Fragile and Conflict affected countries. Now she is the president of Socio-Economic Research Applications and Projects. Before that she has worked as lead economist in World Bank for over 10 years.
